Quagliarella opens door to Napoli return

Juventus striker Fabio Quagliarella has admitted that there is a possibility that he will return to Napoli in the summer transfer window.

The Azzurri might need to bring in a replacement for Edinson Cavani, who looks set to leave and they could do a lot worse than resigning the Italy international.

Fabio Quagliarella, 30, has refused to rule out a possibility of joining the Azzurri ahead of the 2013/2014 campaign.

“Return? Never say never. It is a team of my heart,” the experienced forward told Sky Italia.

Fabio Quagliarella enjoyed a very successful season with Napoli before joining Juventus in the summer of 2010, scoring 11 goals in 34 Serie A matches.

He has since struggled to nail down a regular starting berth in Turin, scoring mere 22 league goals in three years at the club.

With Fernando Llorente and another high-profile striker expected to arrive in the summer transfer window, Quagliarella may be forced to leave his current employers.
